Lokomotif CC 201 Tiba di Sumatera Barat

[25/4]. Setelah hampir sebulan berlayar di lautan, lokomotif CC 201 dari Sumatera Selatan akhirnya tiba di Sumatera Barat. Kapal pengangkut 5 unit lokomotif CC 201 ini tiba di Pelabuhan Teluk Bayur pada Selasa (25/4) siang. Kelima lokomotif tersebut diantaranya adalah CC 201 83 50, CC2018352, CC2018345, CC2018310, dan CC2018336.

Kelimanya sendiri diangkut menggunakan kapal Landing Carrier Tank (LCT) dan berangkat dari Pelabuhan Panjang, Lampung menuju Teluk Bayur pada 1 April lalu. Sesampainya di Teluk Bayur, lokomotif-lokomotif ini selanjutnya dinaikkan ke atas trailer dan dibawa menggunakan truk menuju Dipo Lokomotif Padang. Proses penurunannya sendiri dilakukan hingga malam hari.

Mutasi 5 unit CC 201 ini dilakukan untuk menambah kapasitas kereta angkutan semen curah relasi Bukit Putus-Indarung serta untuk memperbaharui armada lokomotif di Divre 2 yang sampai saat ini masih didominasi oleh lokomotif diesel hidrolik. Kedatangan CC 201 di Ranah Minang merupakan pertama kalinya Divre 2 kedatangan lokomotif diesel elektrik setelah 24 tahun.

Seperti yang kita ketahui, terakhir kalinya Divre 2 kedatangan lokomotif diesel elektrik adalah pada 1993 pada saat lokomotif BB 204 didatangkan dari Swiss untuk angkutan batubara di Sawahlunto semasa masih beroperasi. Dengan kedatangan CC 201 di Divre 2, maka otomatis CC 201 menjadi lokomotif dengan persebaran paling merata di seluruh Daop dan Divre di Indonesia.
